Not Bad

And the first victory for Wade Phillips (you know he skipped to the locker room). I'm not a big fan of the pre-season games, but I am a big fan of the cowboys. Who cares if the second string played almost all of the game. Lets just be glad that no one died of heat exhaustion!

View Do

I was sent an e~mail a couple of days ago containing a pretty neat website called VIEWDO. It's a pretty neat site to learn how to do some odd things (it's like youtube, but you just learn how to do things, all on video)...I learned how to make the margaritas, and they are not bad!

Alright, We've Landed On The Moon!

Tempra Technology has become the first to invent the self cooling beer can, expected to come out the fall from Miller. The can is made to cool the beer to a minimum of 30F in less than 3 minutes and will be stocked on shelves of stores, not coolers. The only bad thing is that a regular can of beer will hold 16oz., while the self-cooling cans will only hold 10.5oz. It is still amazing!

I'm Tired Of This...

T.O., I'm starting to think, is beginning to just need to be on the disabled list, right when the Cowboys need him. He is one of the most in-shape and athletic men in the world, yet he is more fragile than a baby. I don't know if he will ever go a season for the cowboys without missing at least 2 practices...
He had an MRI on his stiff lower back Monday. Dallas Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said the test was precautionary after Owens didn't feel any better following treatment Sunday, when he also missed practice. The team was awaiting the results, but the coach didn't sound too concerned...

Sleepy Girl

We were on our way to BabiesR Us and sure enough she passed out on the backroads from 820 by Rufe Snow...I wish I would have recorded her the first time, but this time was just as good...my babydoll is the best...I wish I could get into a deep sleep like that where nothing would wake me us.
Listen to Jen in the background...she cracks me up!

BARRY BONDS HITS HOMERUN #755

I Couldn't Take It

I had to post this...this has got to be the funniest thing I have ever seen...you should see him later tonight on Cops!

Wise County Messenger Update
TRAGIC ACCIDENT — Three teen-agers were killed early Saturday morning in a one-vehicle wreck at the intersection of County Road 2123 and 3673, according to law enforcement reports. The driver of the vehicle, 17-year-old Ryan Lowe of Boyd, died at the scene as well as two passengers who have not been identified. Two other passengers, Priscilla Hatcher, 15, of North Richland Hills, and Paige Owens, no age available, of Keller were flown to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Both are in critical condition. The accident was reported to Wise County Sheriff’s office dispatchers at 3:57 a.m. The car in which the teens were riding apparently left the roadway and hit two trees. A witness at the scene also said that the injured girls said the group had been drinking, but Texas Department of Public Safety officers are still investigating the tragedy and no cause has been determined.

Super Deer

For those of you that haven't seen this, my uncle sent me this video and thought whoever saw it would laugh as hard as I did...just repeat the video enough times and you'll understand

Kids, Don't Try This at Home

Scott Murray attempt to complete a double backflip during the X-Games..."attempts"...OUCH!

Fishing Game

Here is a fishing game that someone sent to me that is actually entertaining. My record was 276 lbs. Good Luck!

Bonds Again

Heard last night while watching the Dodgers vs. Giants that Barry Bonds pays more than anyone else in Major League Baseball for his baseball bats at $500 a piece. He gave the company that makes the maple bats $40,000 at the begining of the season just to make sure he has enough bats to last him throughout the year.

Never seen this...

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - A woman in Mexico City kept the body of her dead husband by her bedside for a year until neighbors, disturbed by the smell, called the police. Police could not confirm the reports but said her two adult children knew their mother was keeping the body.

This is very disturbing...they could have called us! Oh, and in case I go missing for a year...

17!!!!...2 is Good For Me!

Just picking up some odd news on yahoo about an Arkansas family who just had their 17th child/7th daughter. I have 1 little girl right now with another on the way, and I'm already thinking of a "snip snip" if you get my drift (just joking dad, but don't count on 17). Less than 30 minutes after giving birth the were already talking about having anonther one.
Their Great Grandkids are going to be paying of the loans for college tuition for all of them...

Today was the day that the pool table was moved into the new house...with just 2 people, Jorge and I. Amazingly 2 people can move one, but I broke the biggest sweat I've had in a couple of years and pulled muscles the haven't been pulled in a long time. The only big problem we had was before the table could be moved, the 3 slates had to be pulled upart, thus tearing up the felt.

1 Away from a Tie!

Barry Bonds is just one away from tieing the record for most home runs in a career with 755 which was made by Hank Aaron (Aaron passed Babe Ruth's record of 714 in 1972). They will be playing tonight around 10:00pm against the L.A. Dodgers.
There are thoughts throughout all of the major league on wether or not an asterick * should be placed before his name in the record books questioning if steriods were used in his career.

1st Preseason Game

Only 7 days until the start of the Cowboys 1st Preseason game against Indianapolis. The Colts have lost a lot of lineman this year, but they still have Manning and a loss to the Cowboys from last year (of course it didn't stop them from winning the Super Bowl).

Hittin Sticks

Talk about a domestic dispute, I wonder if they have a mens shelter.
Golf I guess can be a contact sport if your lucky enough. We haven't gotten to play much golf lately because of all the rain that has been going on...but my time is coming.
Decatur Country Club may be having gas/oil well drilled north of hole number 5. If everything goes as planned the Golf course has a great oppurtunity to benefit financially...and turn the course around!

Holy Garage!

I was watching on the news where someone in Virginia has a picture of Jesus that suddenly appeared on their garage floor. They decided to sell it on ebay, which has gone up to $200 and has 6 days left.
What was even stranger was that someone else put up a bogus item for sell starting at $20.
This guy says, "I will personally draw you a picture of Jesus Christ as he might look if His image appeared on my garage floor. I will mail this picture to you via USPS first class mail..."

Potty Time

It is really nice to know that Camryn is getting her potty training down, but sometimes it's is just a little weird because Jen and I will be sitting just taking it easy on the computer, then all of a sudden we hear a flush, and have no idea what is going down the toilet. No telling how many toys are missing!

Time to Build an Ark!

Amazing...3 inches of rain in less than 2 hrs. here at the house. I imagine the mosquitos are going to be flying around us over here in swarms again.

Baby On The Way!

Well, we have about 3 more months to go and the belly is growing, too fast as a matter of fact. Jen is measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule, which could only tell us 2 things...

1. The day we did it, we never did it (it happened 2 weeks before).

2. She's gonna be huge (the baby, not my beautiful wife)!

So during your prayers the next couple of days, just remember to keep Jen in them, because she is ready to go into labor now if the baby is going to be too big come November 16th.
